The simple, reliable and elegant method of connecting the aero-tow cable to the nose of the glider. This popular system simply requires a loop of thin nylon cord to the towline, so there is nothing extra which could get lost on the flying field. All you need to operate the tow release are a low-cost standard servo and a steel rod,1,2mm Ø, running in a Bowden outer tube. The housing is made of anodized aluminium and is glued in the nose of the glider with a thickened epoxy resin. Diameter for the hole required: Ø 10/12 mm, length 25 mm.
