We congratulate Tim Schneider for winning the Robbe Speedcup 2012 and Erich Aumann for the 2nd place. Both of them flew our Impressivo!
The Impressivo is made by our new CAD-specialist HAGER-CNC, located in our region and consequently "made in Germany". The model convinces with its racy optics and the big speed range.
The Impressivo is a wooden construction with precisely milled balsa and plywood parts. The ribs are kind of "threaded" onto the tubular carbon spar and the leading and trailing edges are mounted and fixed with superglue. The construction is fast and easy, the shell of the Impressivo is finished quite quickly.
Concerning the flights there is not much to say, but you should be confident flying fast models. Taking off with half speed and slightly trimmed for height, our Impressivo behaves very uncritical. It accelerates quickly and obtains a crazy speed! The considerable roll rate and obedience of the rudders demand for fast fingers, an excellent reaction and "eagle eyes"...
The landing is no problem, because a high deflection of the delta wings is possible. Not included in the kit: covering film, glue, drive- and RC-components!
Recommended tuning drive ( ... for adrenalin junkies!):
